Milky Way over Cuatro Ciénegas

Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila · 2021

Edition of 25 · Signed and numbered · ChromaLuxe® HD metal print

Archival dyes infused into a coated aluminum panel — luminous, fade-resistant, ready to hang.

A night exposure from the Gypsum Dunes of Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila — one of the darkest, most pristine skies in northern Mexico. The core of our galaxy rises vertically over the white gypsum formations, their delicately lit ripples set against the warm golden glow at the heart of the Milky Way. A thin band of light on the horizon recalls the earthly world beneath the immensity of the cosmos.
